President Reagan remembered communists' corrupt and dishonorable schemes from his days in Hollywood and wasn't afraid to confront evil when he saw it.
"I believe that communism is another sad, bizarre chapter in human history whose last pages even now are being written."
"How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin."

The above is quoted from the Ronald Reagan Ranch calendar of 2008, as is below. As noted above President Reagan thought of Communism in it's last days, but as reminded in the quote below, Communism has taken on a new form in attempting to conquer the USA.

In his last address from the Oval Office, Ronald Reagan challenged us to reach young Americans with the history of our Country and with a patriotic spirit. The President knew that if young Americans adopted freedom as their compass, then they will not lose their way.
"Freedom is not something to be secured in any one moment of time. We must struggle to preserve it everyday. And Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." Ronald Reagan
