Florida Representative Calls for FairTax Hearing!R. George,
Will we finally win the long overdue hearing in the House Ways and Means Committee on the FairTax?
We are banging at Congress' door and it is having an effect. Your voice and the voices of tens of thousands of other patriots are becoming impossible to ignore. It's about time. Our demand to elected officials is to wake up before it is too late.
Given the state of the economy and the destructive path of national borrowing and debt, the time for the FairTax is now. Some Members of Congress are listening.
Watch this statement from the floor of the House of Representatives by Florida's Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (who is not even yet a FairTax co-sponsor) and you will see that you, hometown Floridians and fellow FairTax supporters from across the nation are finally getting through.
So thank you for signing our demand petition to Congress. You are making a stand for the health of our country, for our future and for the future of our children and grandchildren.
May I now ask you to think of any friends, family or colleagues who have not yet helped us and ask them for nothing more than their name on a petition to hold an in-depth hearing on the FairTax?
Even those who have not embraced the FairTax should be able to see that a thorough and fair Congressional hearing on the FairTax is only right. After all, hundreds of thousands of Americans believe in the FairTax, 80 economists have written Congress in support of the FairTax and more than 60 Members of Congress have co-sponsored the FairTax.
Use this link to ask your friends, family and colleagues to help win a fair and balanced hearing on what might be the most important piece of legislation for saving the nation for generations to come.
Thank you for believing in the power of the FairTax to save the nation.

PS: In response to another FairTax petition, a California supporter just sent us a copy of a letter by Senator Diane Feinstein where she writes, "… a value-added tax would unduly harm working families and hinder economic growth." This is another sign that our voices are finally being heard and that our growing strength is becoming dangerous to ignore. Please keep up the pressure; it's starting to work!
