"President Obama's Gutter Ball"

In more ways than one, President Barack Obama rolled a gutter ball last week.

In addition to his unfortunate remarks on last Thursday's Tonight Show, he threatened to raise taxes and cut benefits to our veteran heroes.

On last Thursday night's "Tonight Show" with Jay Leno, President Obama compared his bowling score to something that was, "...like the Special Olympics."

While he has since apologized publicly and to the Special Olympics, feelings have still been hurt.  Mr. President, 129 is a fantastic score.  You have ridiculed the athletic abilities of the disabled and while we accept your apology and forgive you, we hope that you will think a little more about your statements on national television.

In addition, President Obama spent the weekend pushing his $3.6 trillion budget proposal.  Adding this to the TARP, The Stimulus, and the Omnibus he is increasing our Federal debt to unthinkable heights and threatening to increase taxes.  We are being saddled with a debt that we will never be able to pay off.

To make matters worse, when taxes are raised on productivity the costs are only going to be passed on to the consumers.  This hits the disabled really hard and increases our financial burdens since the basic necessities are going to get more expensive.  Shame on your Mr. President!  These are tough times for all Americans and especially the disabled.  It's time to end taxes on productivity and really stimulate the economy by enacting the FairTax!  http://www.fairtax.org

Last but certainly not least, President Obama  threatened to cut benefits to our Veterans.  After heat from the American Legion and other advocates for Veterans, the Obama administration backed off.  While there are many things the Federal Government should cut, no expense should be spared for our Vets.  They have sacrificed much in serving our nation and fighting to protect our freedoms.  They are our heroes and deserve our gratitude and thanks.  The last thing they should have to deal with is the loss of their benefits.  In fact it is about time we pass a Veterans Bill of Rights on their behalf.  http://ktracy.com/?p=480

There are many problems and issues we face in our Nation today.  We hope our President will hone in on his game so that instead of a gutter ball that he will throw a strike and move our nation forward in a positive manner.

Chairman Steele takes on the Beltway crowd

Chairman Steele is speaking to the beltway establishment here.  How many times have we said that those who have the best intentions get to Washington and drink the water.  This attitude that Michael is demonstrating and his appointment of an outside of Washington Microsoft Executive as the Media Director continues to demonstrate his cleaning house of the good ole boy power base of the old RNC.

As Reagan said, "Trust but Verify."  So far, looking good Chairman Steele.

Michael Steele Keeps Piling It On

Despite calls for his resignation and the disastrous results of his hip-hop feud with Stephen Colbert, RNC head Michael Steele can't help himself from slamming his own party.

In a moment reminiscent of George W. Bush declaring that "Wall Street got drunk," Steele declared this weekend that the Republican party, himself included, had "lost our minds."

Steele was frank about why Republicans did so badly in elections nationwide last fall.

"We started drinking from that wonderful Potomac River" when in charge of Congress and the White House, Steele joked. "We got that Potomac fever, and we lost our minds."...

Citizens' Petition for Redress of Grievance of MO

Have you heard about how the State of Missouri is labeling the constitutionalists as terrorists.  Also, in a Florida IRS tax trial, the Federal lawyer referred to those who are anti-government as "Constitutionalists".  How is it that those who defend the Document that the government employees elected take an oath to defend, call those who do just that as enemies of the State?  We are witnessing a very strange moment in time and if we do not wake from our stupor, it is going to not go well.  Please help and sign this petition below, whether you like the right or not.  Our liberty and freedom depends on you doing so.   Thanks,

PLEASE SPREAD/FORWARD FAR AND WIDE!

Citizens' Petition for Redress of Grievance

Dear Governor Nixon and Attorney General Koster,

I was outraged when I recently learned that supporters of Campaign for Liberty and Congressman Ron Paul had been labeled as security threats in a report released by the Missouri Information Analysis Center.

Titled, "The Modern Militia Movement" and released on February 20, 2009, the report was disseminated to law enforcement officers throughout the state of Missouri. In the report, law enforcement is told that violent militia members are "usually" supporters of past presidential candidates like Ron Paul and can be seen with Campaign for Liberty materials.

Both Ron Paul and Campaign for Liberty champion principles of freedom, peace, and prosperity.  We believe that the Founder's vision for America can be reclaimed through education and peaceful activism.

Simply supporting the Constitution does not make you worthy of a watch list; it makes you a Patriot.

It is time for the Missouri government to hear our voices and rein in reckless bureaucrats before they single out Ron Paul and Campaign for Liberty members again.

I will not support politicians who label me and others like me who love freedom and liberty as "threats" to security and place me in the same category as hate groups.  It is important that you recognize the gross injustice that has taken place and, on behalf of the state of Missouri, swiftly issue a formal apology to both Ron Paul and Campaign for Liberty members.

I strongly urge you to take hold of this situation and on behalf of the state of Missouri, issue a formal apology to the Campaign for Liberty and Ron Paul.

Thank you,
