|
| I reported to you yesterday that Congressman Fred Upton, in an interview with the Kalamazoo Gazette, expressed opposition to repeal of the Government-run health care law. Here is a quote from the Kalamazoo Gazette article published, March 31, 2010: "Both Sandstrom and Upton said they don't support efforts to repeal the new health care laws -- calling it divisive and unhelpful to the country. But, they said, the laws as they are now need work." Read the full story from mlive here. Mr. Upton subsequently contacted the Gazette to clarify his position. In this report, published April 1, he says, "I do support repeal, but I want reform as well," The Gazette published that story today. You can read it here. I spoke with the Managing editor of the Gazette to be sure I had the correct information. When I asked whether he believed Mr. Upton was for repeal or against repeal, his response to me was, "Both articles are accurate." | You Can Join Effort to Repeal National Health Care Plan
