Watched the Romney CPAC Speech

I watched the Romney CPAC speech.  He was very good with the crowd, but he did lack any substance that would fix the Fiscal crisis.  His approach is less taxes, but has no plan for a permanent fix to job security for the American family.  We have watched our industrial base melt away by corporate Owners like Romney who have made a fortune on importing to America.  If those Corporate types were serious in wanting to fix our free enterprise, they would acknowledge that our tax structure is "A heavy or progressive or graduated income tax is necessary for the proper development of Communism." - Karl Marx and is destroying America and we are watching Washington dance as the last large industry is about to leave America.  As to the other car companies and the big three, how much of the parts are already foreign and assembled here.

Romney also said we need to think of Global Warming not as an American plan, but as an international plan.  How does he figure that a scam at the national level is not a scam at the international level.  What he said sounded just like one of those one world nuts and from what the Bushs have done, they too are of that tree, along with all those elites in Washington.  The audience saw that and reacted, with hardly anyone clapping to the fraud, global warming.

Nope, Romney will further divide the GOP.  His days are done, regardless of how much the Washington crowd to include Fox push him.  He might as well save his money for his Grandchildren.  Don't get me wrong, I like Governor Romney, but just as a friend, not as our future leader.  Maybe he should go find a blue State and become it's Governor.  Romney is part of the insider Washington big government crowd who are already exposing their hand in pushing him for president.  NOpe, he is too RINO.

Morning Bell: Free Our Energy

The Democrats are again putting the security of our Nation at risk by stopping Drilling here, drilling now.

Throw on top of that the Global Warming hoax by raising taxes to further subjugate We the People to Washington DC and we will be crippled for decades to come with the  spending being provided to democrat organizations such as the fraudulent ACORN.  As Obama builds up his Civilian Army, note that those boots sounding in the streets will be a great influence on voters, very intimidating thought for sure.

Free Our Energy

Department of Interior Secretary Ken Salazar is once again taking steps towards increasing our energy dependence. Just a few weeks after the Obama Administration unnecessarily slowed the process of leasing offshore areas to energy companies for drilling; Secretary Salazar is now rescinding leasing plans for oil-shale development on federal land in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.

The amount of oil available through oil shale is staggering. Some estimates have 1.2 trillion to 1.8 trillion barrels of oil available in the Green River Formation, an area which expands through most of Colorado and parts of Utah and Wyoming. According to the U.S. Department of Interior and Bureau of Land Management, a conservative estimate of 800 billion barrels of recoverable oil from oil shale in the Green River Formation is three times greater than the proven oil reserves of Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, if full-scale production begins within five years, the U.S. could completely end its dependence on OPEC by 2020.

The oil shale industry experienced several hiccups in the 1970s and the industry has a ways to go before the resource becomes commercially viable, but its potential is enormous. The investment in technology and R&D is making the process cheaper, cleaner and safer for the environment. In effect, methods of harvesting oil shale force excess carbon back into the ground.

Furthermore, nuclear energy is a clean source of power that can heat the shale to safely extract it from the ground. This is actually the third time that Salazar has delayed access to energy in the United States. Previously, he cancelled onshore leases in Utah. This delay is not surprising but is particularly damaging to America's ability to access its domestic energy sources. In July 2008, then Senator Salazar stated he would not support drilling offshore if gas prices were to reach $10 per gallon. Environmental activists and other critics of offshore drilling argue that drilling will not immediately bring down gas prices because the process takes too long, but they then deliberately cause or prolong needless delays.

Anuzis Joins Gingrich At American Solutions - Embarks on grassroots campaign to save American jobs

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  February 27, 2009

Saul Anuzis Joins American Solutions' Campaign to Promote 'Freedom Not Fear' in the Workplace

Anuzis will lead a grassroots campaign to save American jobs and protect the secret ballot

WASHINGTON, DC—Saul Anuzis, former Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party, joined the American Solutions team today as National Chairman of its "Save American Jobs Project."

"We are thrilled to have Saul join the American Solutions team and lead this important project," said Newt Gingrich, American Solutions' General Chairman.  "Saul is an extraordinary leader with the new media savvy and grassroots connections to successfully chair this nationwide campaign."

The "Save American Jobs Project" is a grassroots, Internet-based campaign to mobilize citizens to defeat the so-called Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) and protect workers' right to a secret ballot union election and their right to freely negotiate their contracts.  If EFCA became law, workers would be asked to publically sign cards in front of union organizers, potentially subjecting them to harassment or intimidation.

"We need freedom not fear in the workplace to be competitive in the global economy," said Gingrich.  "With business owners struggling to keep their doors open, the last thing they need is more costly bureaucratic red tape and federally imposed work rules.  Forcing workers to join a union will kill jobs in America at a time we can't afford to lose them."

In discussing his new role, Saul Anuzis said, "I am excited to join with Newt and American Solutions in this crucial fight to save American jobs and protect worker's rights.  We look forward to working with our coalition partners to defeat this anti-democratic bill that is wrong for our economy and our country."   Anuzis, a former Teamster, went on to say, "I believe that workers have the right to organize, but they must be permitted to vote in private and freely negotiate their contracts."
