Agreed the VAT is the worst thing that could happen to the USA.  If the FairTax is implemented, it will eliminate the IRS and as you know the FairTax act has a 6 or 7 year moratorium on the fairtax structure, that it will be void if the 16th Amendment is not repealed Constitutionally.

Remember, under President Reagan we were promised a flat tax and it has been amended 1,200 times since.  By leaving the tax structure the same, you do not eliminate the same old graft in DC causing congressman beholding to lobbyists who can fill their family treasury upon retirement from the campaign funds.  Absolutely astounding that we allow this corruption.

Also President Reagan gave us free trade, moving from a closed board to open boarder.  While under closed border, the production tax was the cheapest and easiest way to collect Federal Taxes.  All States were equally burdened in the manufacturing.cost built into product.  With free trade in place those same taxes in the production cost of product remain to this day.  The USA is handicapped with a 22%+ penalty in competing with imports.  That has brought us to this point of fiscal collapse and ripe for One World Governance to take our Constitution away.  We need to level the playing field with Free trade and demand equal taxation on all product, the FairTax plan.

Tea Party Express to Hold 5 Tea Party

Rallies Targeting Bart Stupak as

Part of National Bus Tour

The Tea Party Express (website: www.TeaPartyExpress.org) has announced that it is expanding its plans to ensure the Defeat of Congressman Bart Stupak in Michigan Congressional District 1.

As the Tea Party Express traverses through the Upper & Lower Peninsula of Michigan, it will stop for 5 Tea Party Express rallies.  This is far and above more rallies than have been held in any other congressional district in America since the inception of the tea party movement.

Rallies will be held in the following cities in Stupak's district:

*Ironwood, MI

*Escanaba, MI

*Sault Sainte Marie, MI

*Cheboygan, MI

*Petoskey, MI

The rallies are just the tip of the iceberg.  A "Defeat Bart Stupak" TV and radio ad campaign will be launched during the swing through Stupak's congressional district.

More and more details will be posted online at: http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/4109762:6104379976:m:1:188809961:BCD1215ECA7B72435A835D5B31833AF0

This will be a historic chapter in the tea party movement and it will take place in Michigan - a state where failed leadership by tax-and-spend politicians has played a major role in crippling the state's economy.

Columnist's disagreement is with his Maker, not Gary Glenn

In answer to Justin L. Engel's March 26 column in The Saginaw News, "Anti-gay critic doesn't — and shouldn't — rattle Democratic leader:" http://www.mlive.com/news/saginaw/index.ssf/2010/03/opinion_anti-gay_push_doesnt_-.html

Mr. Engel, shame on you for your biased, pro-gay piece written at the expense of American Family Association of Michigan President Gary Glenn and the hard-working Michigan families who support his work. Your article, as well as some of the twisted commentaries, are representative of the politically correct, liberal mindset of many misguided people today. Let me put you straight.

According to Scripture, the practice of homosexuality is a sin.

Gary Glenn did not write the Bible. Your confusion and disagreement, along with those who agree with you, is with your Maker, not Mr. Glenn. The American Family Association, which you choose to bash, believes America was founded upon biblical truth and that the Bible is the only inspired and infallible word of God.

Today, special interest groups are bashing Christians because the Bible will not support their lifestyle. The faith and cultural values of our nation's foundation are under attack.

The obvious goal of these special interest groups is for America to become a Godless, hedonistic, self-indulgent, complacent place where ridiculed Christians are rendered voiceless.

So, no, Mr. Engel, I am not buying your arguments, because your conclusions are faulty. I will continue to support the AFA and Gary Glenn, who co-authored the Marriage Protection Amendment. Gary correctly states that those who support the protection of traditional marriage should be concerned with homosexual activists who have risen to the top of the Democratic Party chain.

Gary is an appreciated lightening rod for decency, a powerful man of faith and a true American hero. We thank our God for his untiring dedication, for putting the cause above himself and for the abuse he takes from people like yourself. Every American who espouses a biblical world view owes Gary Glenn a debt of gratitude. Largely because of him, traditional marriage still stands in America today.
