The Federal Reserve Transparency Act HR 1207/ S 513

Need fax numbers? Try here!

The idea for the fax bomb started over at the Ron Paul Forums
I designed the first flier with all of your help, and Jive Dadson was the inspiration and wrote the copy for the second version. Here is an excellent sample letter here to go along with the fliers: HR 1207 Lobby Pack.

Click on one of the images below to download a.pdf version that you can print out and fax.

Find out whether your representatives in Congress & the Senate are cosponsoring the bill. We're up to 44 cosponsors in the House - I don't believe there are any in the Senate. Only fax them if they're not a cosponsor yet!

If you don't have a fax machine, you can send at least 2 faxes for free per day with And even though this is a fax bomb, you are free to email and call as well! I also recommend following up by sending your letter & flier via snailmail to all of your representatives.

Support this Bill to make the Federal Reserve and all Americn Naitonal Banks provide transparancy in accordance with the Basil IV International Monetary Banking Committee.

From Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C., of Charlotte:

Many calendars have April 15 denoted as "Tax Day" as if it's a holiday! Maybe it is a holiday for the IRS, but for the rest of us it is a nightmare.

I think we sometimes forget that almost everything in America is now taxed.

We pay taxes when we pump gas, make a phone call or buy groceries. We pay taxes to get hunting or fishing licenses, when we purchase a car and register it each year. Let's not forget the taxes we pay on our property and our homes. We pay taxes on everything under the sun, and then the government sets aside April 15 as the day it wants us to make sure we paid them all.

The IRS estimates that it will take the average person 3 hours, 42 minutes to fill out a basic 1040 tax form. Add an additional 29 hours for record keeping, reading tax instructions, calculating what is owed and submitting the forms. When all is said and done, paying your taxes will take over 32 hours. Wouldn't you rather spend this time playing with your kids or enjoying a hobby?

Worse yet, filling out tax forms is filled with complexities, and we face severe penalties if we don't do it properly. The simple fact is that our tax system is out of control. We must make our tax system a more fair and simple process.

Currently, there is a bill before Congress called the Fair Tax Act. This bill would repeal the income tax and other taxes, abolish the Internal Revenue Service, and enact a national sales tax. I support this bill, and bills like it, because it would actually simplify our tax system, not just put more Band-Aids on a failed system.

I believe in the simple idea that tax dollars are the people's money – not the federal government's. The more money people have in their pockets, and the less the government gets in your way, the more prosperous America will be. Simplifying the tax code will save millions of tax dollars by eliminating the IRS, and would put more money in your pocket by eliminating unneeded and burdensome taxes.

Unfortunately, instead of making our tax system less complicated and less burdensome, the 2010 budget could bring the largest tax increase in U.S. history. Estimates show that this budget could raise taxes by $1.4 trillion over 10 years, hitting small businesses particularly hard. It will also bring back the estate tax, also known as the Death Tax, which is set to be repealed next year. This will tax people – even in death – punishing families for building up enough savings and property to pass onto their heirs.

All over the country people are organizing modern day "tea parties" against the out-of-control spending going on in Washington that is the cause of these tax increases. I'll be at one on April 4 in Charlotte – and I invite you to join me.

Remember that when you are filing your taxes, there is someone in Washington fighting to change the tax system so that you can keep more of your hard-earned money. We need tax simplification so that we get back those 32 hours each year, and so we can mark "Tax Day" off our calendars forever.

Federal Spy 'Fusion Centers' Expand Criteria to Identify Militia Members

'Fusion Centers' Expand Criteria to Identify Militia Members

Do you like Ron Paul or oppose abortion? You may be a member of a militia, according to a new report by a government information collection agency.

If you're an anti-abortion activist, or if you display political paraphernalia supporting a third-party candidate or a certain Republican member of Congress, if you possess subversive literature, you very well might be a member of a domestic paramilitary group.

That's according to "The Modern Militia Movement," a report by the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC), a government collective that identifies the warning signs of potential domestic terrorists for law enforcement communities. ...

During a press conference last week in Kansas City, Mo., DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano called fusion centers the "centerpiece of state, local, federal intelligence-sharing" in the future.

"Let us not forget the reason we are here, the reason we have the Department of Homeland Security and the reason we now have fusion centers, which is a relatively new concept, is because we did not have the capacity as a country to connect the dots on isolated bits of intelligence prior to 9/11," Napolitano said, according to a DHS transcript.

"That's why we started this.... Now we know that it's not just the 9/11-type incidents but many, many other types of incidents that we can benefit from having fusion centers that share information and product and analysis upwards and horizontally."

But some say the fusion centers are going too far in whom they identify as potential threats to American security.

People who supported former third-party presidential candidates like Texas Rep. Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin and former Georgia Rep. Bob Barr are cited in the report, in addition to anti-abortion activists and conspiracy theorists who believe the United States, Mexico and Canada will someday form a North American Union.

"Militia members most commonly associate with 3rd party political groups," the report reads. "It is not uncommon for militia members to display Constitutional Party, Campaign for Liberty or Libertarian material."

Other potential signals of militia involvement, according to the report, are possession of the Gagsden "Don't Tread on Me" flag or the widely available anti-income tax film "America: Freedom to Fascism." ...

R. George Dunn Comment:

Missouri today threw out their policy on holding thrid party candidates who suppor the Consitutiton as being terrorist, yet we now find out that the Federal Govenrment is embracing this concept, to include Pro-LIfers, anyone who opposes the left?
