Elijah, that great prophet of holiness and righteousness, had become disheartened by the moral landslide his nation was experiencing and had fled from the threats of Jezebel, the wicked wife of King Ahab. God found him hiding in a cave on Mount Horeb and asked, "Elijah, what are you doing here, hiding?"

With indignation, Elijah replied, "God, I've been jealous for your glory, but your people have forsaken your Word; your altars have been broken down; your ministers have been persecuted. I'm the only one left—and now they're out to get me, too."

To all outward appearances, Elijah had a good argument. The government was the most wicked and vile in all history and his society was nearing a collapse. The Bible says, "Ahab made a grove [pagan shrines for pleasure]; and Ahab did more to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him" (1 Kings 16:33). The government was actually forcing the nation into idolatry. Jezebel, the most wicked queen to ever share the throne, was a God-hating woman, bent on killing every follower of Jehovah.

Elijah was determined to "hold out to the end." If the whole nation forsook God, he would stay true! But God was not about to congratulate this hiding prophet, because at that very moment, the Holy Spirit was moving throughout the land. Elisha, Elijah's eventual successor, was feeling the first stirrings of God's hand upon him and Jehu, a powerful young revolutionary, was chomping at the bit, waiting anxiously to declare war on the corruption and godlessness in the land. A great moral awakening was about to happen, and God would soon fling Jezebel to the dogs and overthrow the wicked rulers.

Elijah was most emphatically informed by God, "I have 7,000 who have not compromised and given in to the wickedness around them. They have not been seduced—they are Mine!" God was trying to tell Elijah that he had his people stationed in key positions, all across the nation, believers standing tall and true in spite of the corruption around them.

God has been encouraging me to open my eyes to the great calling out of saints that is now taking place in this, our own time. God said to Elijah, "Thousands have not bowed." To us, I believe He is saying, "Millions have not bowed!"

Glory be to God, we are not a tiny remnant! We are an army, a blood-washed multitude, in every walk of life, unbending and uncompromising in an age gone crazy. Satan would like God's people to think their numbers are dwindling fast; he wants true believers to think the majority have already defected to his camp, so that fear would drive them into hiding. Don't believe the lies of Satan! God is still at work, pouring out his Holy Spirit and drawing hungry hearts to himself.

Jim Hill's Letter to Barbara Boxer

Jim Hill's Letter to Barbara Boxer

Some of us witnessed the arrogance of Barbara Boxer (CA)  as she admonished a brigadier general because he addressed her as "ma'am" and not "Senator" before a Senate hearing.

This letter is from a National Guard aviator and Captain for Alaska Airlines. I wonder what he would have said if he were really angry.

Long fly Alaska !!!!!

To Senator Boxer:

You were so right on when you scolded the general on TV for using the term, "ma'am," instead of "Senator". After all, in the military, "ma'am" is a term of respect when addressing a female of superior rank or position. The general was totally wrong.. You are not a person of superior rank or position. You are a member of one of the world's most corrupt organizations, the U.S.  Senate, equaled only by the  U.S.  House of Representatives.

Congress is a cesspool of liars, thieves, inside traders, traitors, drunks (one who killed a staffer, yet is still revered), criminals, and other low level swine who, as individuals (not all, but many), will do anything to enhance their lives, fortunes and power, all at the expense of the People of the United States and its Constitution, in order to be continually re-elected.  Many democrats even want American troops killed by releasing photographs. How many of you could honestly say, "We pledge our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor"? None? One? Two?

Your reaction to the general shows several things. First is your abysmal ignorance of all things military. Your treatment of the general shows you to be an elitist of the worst kind.

When the general entered the military (as most of us who served) he wrote the government a blank check, offering his life to protect your derriere, now safely and comfortably ensconced in a 20 thousand dollar leather chair, paid for by the general's taxes. You repaid him for this by humiliating him in front of millions.

Second is your puerile character, lack of sophistication, and arrogance which borders on the hubristic. This display of brattish behavior shows you to be a virago, termagant, harridan, nag, scold or shrew, unfit for your position, regardless of the support of the unwashed, uneducated masses who have made California into the laughing stock of the nation.

What I am writing, Senator, are the same thoughts countless millions of Americans have toward Congress, but who lack the energy, ability or time to convey them. Under the democrats, some don't even have the 44 cents to buy the stamp. Regardless of their thoughts, most realize that politicians are pretty much the same, and will vote for the one who will bring home the most bacon, even if they do consider  how corrupt that person is. Lord Acton (1834 - 1902) so aptly charged, "Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Unbeknownst to you and your colleagues, "Mr. Power" has had his way with all of you, and we are all the worse for it.

Finally Senator, I, too, have a title. It is "Right Wing Extremist Potential Terrorist Threat." It is not of my choosing, but was given to me by your Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano. And you were offended by "ma'am"?

Have a fine day. Cheers!

Jim Hill 16808 - 103rd Avenue Court East South Hill ,   WA   98374

Please circulate this to remind every voter that the "cesspools" MUST be pumped out when we go to the polls in November, 2010.

Honoring and respecting the voters is a thing of the past for many of those in our congress and senate.  We need to vote their arrogant, self serving asses out of office if America is to get on the long road back from the devastation that these self serving cowards have brought upon us!

@Mike_Cox: A Specific Plan to Cut Government Spending, Cut Taxes & Protect The Constitution

A SPECIFIC PLAN to CUT GOVERNMENT SPENDING, CUT TAXES and PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION

Greetings again from the trail. We've got less than 100 days now until the August Primary election and the campaign is kicking into high gear. Hopefully you were able to tune this past Wednesday to the first televised debate between myself and the other Republican candidates for governor.

The Michigan Republican Party did a great job putting the event together and voters saw real differences between each of the candidates.

This State's unemployment rate is still the worst in the nation and if we're going to put Michigan back to work we're going to have to right-size Lansing's budget and give more money back to families and job makers.

I was the only candidate on the stage Wednesday who laid out a specific plan to cut government spending, to cut taxes and to protect the Constitution. And if the media accounts are any indication, folks know that I'm a fighter with a proven track record who is willing to go to battle to protect Michigan residents and their pocketbooks.

STANDING UP TO OBAMA, PELOSI and GRANHOLM to PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION

And the battle to protect the Constitution from Governor Granholm, President Obama and Obamacare continues as well. I was pleased this week when the State of Oklahoma signaled they will be joining our lawsuit to overturn the unconstitutional health care reform bill. I filed the suit minutes after the President signed the bill into law and now 21 other states are suing, too.

I continue to do everything in my power to stop Obamacare but I still need your help. Please visit http://mikecox2010.com/petition-health-care-bill and sign our online petition to tell the President and Congress enough is enough!

Then forward this update to one of your friends or family members and ask them to do the same!

GET YOUR PETITIONS IN NOW--HELP GET MIKE ON THE BALLOT!

Mike Cox 2010 petitions continue to circulate across Michigan and the time to get them back to campaign headquarters is now. We need your help getting on the ballot. Please show your support by contacting Robbie Rankey at (734) 525-5035 or emailing Robbie at volunteer@mikecox2010.com to help circulate petitions or to mail in the signatures you've already got. This campaign is a grassroots effort and we appreciate all of your help.

Campaign gear is still available, too. Volunteers who collect 50 petition signatures will win a T-shirt and if you bring in 100 petition signatures you will earn a Mike Cox 2010 fleece!

JOIN CLUB 2010 AND SHOW YOUR COMMITMENT TO ELECTING A NEW GOVERNOR

Please also consider joining Club 2010 and making a contribution of $20.10, to add your voice to the chorus of concerned families, individuals and businesses who have had enough of the timid acts, high taxes, overspending, overregulation and failed policies that have put this state in the position it's in today.

I'm fighting to cut government spending, cut taxes by $2 billion and to protect the Constitution because Michigan is ready for bold leadership. And for ideas that will put this state back to work. We must start immediately--and I hope that you will act, by joining Club 2010, and making a contribution of $20.10 today.

Thank you again for your continued help as we fight to turn Michigan around. We are going to cut spending, we are going to cut taxes and together we will bring jobs back to Michigan!

Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox Visits Kalamazoo to Discuss Health-Reform Ideas

Kalamazoo Gazette
Saturday, April 24, 2010

Cox, who is vying for the Republican nomination for governor, made a campaign stop Saturday in Kalamazoo... He glad-handed with attendees and vendors at the Kalamazoo Gun & Knife Show and pitched his ideas for reform...

It's the individual mandate to purchase health insurance that he has a problem with.

"The government can't tell you to buy something," Cox said. "That's what makes this unconstitutional."

Cox's campaign is pushing health savings accounts as a reasonable way to rein in out-of-control health-care costs and make coverage more affordable for consumers.

"With the rising cost of health care, health savings accounts represent one way for small businesses and individuals to acquire quality health care at an affordable price," his campaign said in a press release. "Mike Cox will create tax incentives for businesses that provide HSAs to their employees and will assist self-employed residents who want to create HSAs."

Lots of Heat, Some Light in GOP Debate

Thursday, April 22, 2010

The bulk of the debate dealt with the similarities in the field of would-be governors: Smaller government, lower taxes, more responsible spending.

But there was a contentious side, the pent-up frustration over whispers and innuendo bubbling just under the surface that were finally aired in the open, primarily between Mike Cox and Rick Snyder.

Cox: "You know, Rick, it's interesting you say that because when I was an 18-year-old fighting in the Marines, no one called me a career politician. When I was prosecuting homicides in Detroit no one called me a career politician. While you were making millions sending 19,000 jobs overseas, no one was calling me a career politican. While you were pulling millions out of Gateway and engaging in insider trading lawsuits, no one was calling me a career politican. But, I guess you have to do that to cover up your record of quote, unquote creating jobs in China not in Michigan."

Cox Keeps Up Heat on GOP Opponents

Thursday, April 22, 2010

Mike Cox continues to make the most noise in Michigan's Republican gubernatorial field.

The state attorney general went on the attack Wednesday as the top five GOP candidates sparred during a televised debate on the Michigan State University campus...

Cox chided Bouchard and Snyder for failing to back his lawsuit regarding federal health care legislation. He also accused Snyder of outsourcing jobs while Snyder was head of Gateway computers, and attacked Hoekstra for voting for the federal government bailout of banks

Mike Cox Seeks Reversal of DPS Limits on Robert Bobb

Saturday, April 24, 2010

State Attorney General Mike Cox filed an appeal on Friday that claims a lower court's injunction improperly limits Robert Bobb's authority over financial matters in Detroit Public Schools.

Bobb, the district's emergency financial manager, cannot proceed with his plan to close schools or implement an academic plan, the lower court ruled, putting $106 million in federal aid in jeopardy, the appeal suggests.

"Every day that Mr. Bobb's hands are tied, the risks to students increase," said Cox, who is requesting the state court of appeals in Lansing reverse the injunction. "Robert Bobb's power to continue reforming the Detroit Public Schools must be restored immediately."
