A Note from the Founder

R. George—There is important breaking news this morning out of the Supreme Court, where the Justices handed down today a 9-0 ruling in favor of religious liberty. They ruled that the City of Philadelphia violated the First Amendment for refusing to contract with Catholic Social Services as a foster-care provider because of the agency's unwillingness to certify same-sex couples as foster parents. This is a great win for religious freedom, and we will be sure to offer some more analysis in the coming weeks.

FEATURED EDITORIAL:

Ronald Reagan was living proof that you don't have to have a great father to be one. He never disparaged his dad, but the challenges imposed on the family by Jack Reagan's alcoholism were real and traumatic—and something Ronald rose above in his own quest to become a great father. That greatness resounds in autobiographical echoes throughout his eight presidential Father's Day proclamations, guiding stars that shine ever brighter for fathers in America and beyond.
