Detroit FreePress- 'Too easy tax cut promises'~Candidates need to spell out how they'd fund schools & services

They all sound so appealing, the promises Michigan's gubernatorial candidates are making about never raising taxes -- or even better, lowering them to make the state a more attractive investment for businesses and families.

Everyone wants to pay less and get a better Michigan, right? Everyone can relate to the hardships of the state's current tax structure.

But it's not that simple, and none of the gubernatorial candidates spinning seductive tales about lower taxes can be absolved from a fuller explanation of their position...full article here

Raising taxes is growing Government which will further burden Michigan.  The best way to cut taxes is to put people back to work increasing the revenue sharing and reduce the safety net draw by the people.

Business owners, cannot ignore, needing to set up shop where the taxation is favorable to making a profit.  By shifting the tax burden from the producing of products to the consuming of products, you make the taxing climate most favorable for the creation of jobs and increase the amount of consumption by the new jobs created, thus reducing the need for government and reducing the need for taxation.  FairTax is the tax structure that will bring this about.

We have a current flock of gubernatorial candidates playing politics with our State, instead of cutting to the truth.  The reason why Lansing and DC will not support the FairTax is it cuts into their lobby pie.  The one failure of a republic form of government is when those who represent find a greedy way to govern for themselves. Lets just hope the voters get a true statesman to vote for rather then a politician before we collapse as a Nation and as a union of Nations called the USA.

Go to MiFairTax.org and learn more about how FairTax will save Michigan and how fairtax.org will save the USA.
