Scheduled to speak:
  • Mark Avery - OvertaxedProperty.com Mark will be talking about how property tax assessments work and why the real estate market is "upside down". Find out more about how to fight high property tax assessments.
  • Gary Glenn - American Family Association: Gary will speak about his experience as the leader of the effort to make Idaho a Right-to-Work state, why RTW is important for Michigan and the prospects for the passage of RTW legislation in Michigan.
  • Sherry Loar - plaintiff in Day Care Lawsuit. This issue was featured in the Mackinac film "Are You My Employer." Sherry will discuss how the state of Michigan has instituted a policy of forced unionization of day care workers.
  • Ken Braun - Mackinac Center for Public Policy: Update on the Capitol Confidential and other news from Mackinac.
  • Special Presentation on the Petition drive to repeal National Health Care. Pick up your petitions at this event!
