If you were in attendance, Wednesday, at the Michigan Taxpayers Tea Party in Lansing, we know you were proud to see Michigan FairTax well-represented by its table displays (on each side of the Capitol steps), by the many MI FairTax volunteers who came early to ensure that our message was visible and inviting, and by our organization's representative guest speaker, Ron Babin, Deputy State Director. Thank you, Ron, volunteers - and a special thanks to our partner coalition organizations, and their members, who assisted!
Missed the Party? It's here for you!
For those who wanted to attend, but couldn't, we have a nice surprise for you - you can
replay the video! - thanks to the Lansing State Journal and their excellent coverage of the event.
Additionally, the Michigan FairTax figured prominently in LSJ's online coverage. Their photographer caught a dramatic shot of a crowd captivated by Ron's energetic and rousing message of transparency and accountability - its what Michigan FairTax is all about.
Volunteers swamped by those seeking to sign up
Volunteers at the tables, and with clipboards, reported that they were swamped with people wanting to sign-up - waiting patiently as persons ahead of them completed the task. People are worried, and activated toward our message. We obtained hundred's of new sign-ups from among the estimated 5,000 in attendence.
National media highlights FairTax
Coverage of the national FairTax appeared nationwide on several Fox News programs, including interviews with Neal Boortz and Mike Huckabee from the Columbia, South Carolina
"Save The Nation" FairTax Rally.
As well, in their coverage of Tea Parties around the country, Fox News cameras caught either the national FairTax logo, or simply the words, "FAIR TAX."
Time to REVOLUTION-ize our tax system
Are Michiganders - whose state is suffering the worst of it in this economy - fed up and ready to act? We think, YES! With your help, and
support, together we'll get the job done.
Spread the word!
