| Whitmer's political operatives used every trick in the book to stop us -- and they failed. It took two trips to the Michigan Supreme Court to force two rogue Democrats on the Board of State Canvassers to do their clear legal duty. But we never gave up.
We have strong assurances from the leaders in the House and Senate that they will promptly vote to enact our initiative -- and that they have the votes to succeed.
And soon we'll be ready to launch Unlock: The Sequel, where we fix the Public Health Act so that no governor can abuse that law in the future either.
We're grateful to you for all you did to get us to this point. Maybe today, just for a minute, Gretchen Whitmer will hear us. Maybe, just for a second or two, Whitmer will understand our anger over what she's done to our state and our lives. Maybe, for just a fleeting moment, this Governor will realize that we won't allow this to happen again.
We can hope, right?
