Hello Tea Party Patriots,

 

A new strategy is being implemented by the National Tea Party Patriots organization.  In an effort to let our elected officials in Washington know that WE THE PEOPLE are tired of not being heard and of them backing down in the face of opposition, we are being called on to join forces.  It is time for concerned citizens of the United States to unite and say we have had enough of being ignored, we have seen enough sensible amendments being defeated and others passed on Party vote alone.  The time has come for the Republicans to stand with the majority of Americans and WALK OUT NOW!  The Senate Finance Committee is planning to put out their final version of a bill this week.  All Republican members of the Senate Finance Committee  need to be encouraged to WALK OUT when it is time to vote on the bill.

 

Senate Finance Committee reads:  "Rule 4.Quorums. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b) one-third of the membership of the committee, including not less than one member of the majority party and one member of the minority party, shall constitute a quorum for the conduct of business." 

 

If the Republican Senators walk out at the time of the vote, the vote can't take place!  Let it be known that you demand that the Republican Senators in the Senate Finance Committee stop negotiating and WALK OUT for AMERICA.  Let the senators know that they will be supported by citizens for taking a stand on this issue. 

 

This is what you can do to stand shoulder to shoulder with fellow Americans and encourage our senators to carry out this strategy.

 

1)  Call the Republican Senate Finance Committee Members and tell them to WALK OUT NOW!

 

2)  Email the Chiefs of Staff of Republican Senate Finance Committee Members and tell them you want the Senator to WALK OUT NOW.

 

When you call/email the senators, tell them three simple things you are against in a healthcare plan: 1)  No government run health care 2)  No government mandate  3)  No Reconciliation/ Fast Track.  Also, when you contact them let them know who you are in your community (business owner, community leader, teacher, veteran, fireman, etc.) and why government run healthcare is not good for you and your family, as well as for America.

 

It takes time to call/email the senators, but together we can get the job done.  Just consider how far we have come.  If the American people had not started raising their voices in opposition to government run healthcare, it would not have been stalled thus far.  We have to keep the pressure on!  Recruit your friends, neighbors and family to join the effort.  All contact information for the senators follows.
