Norlander News Anne Norlander, Republican for Michigan Secretary of State Friends, In a recent interview that the Secretary of State candidates participated in, only one candidate indicated her first priority would be elections.  While others talked about improving customer service, Anne talked about the importance of delivering strict and ethical elections and protecting Michigan elections from groups like ACORN.  Under Republican Secretary's of State, customer service has improved exponentially.  However, in our last election we were introduced to a new enemy - ACORN, and they are growing strong under the Obama administration.  ACORN was indicted for voter fraud in a number of states.  As Calhoun County Clerk and Register of Deeds, Anne Norlander was the only Secretary of State candiate who fought ACORN as an election administrator.  ACORN has now been contracted to participate in the US Census - a dangerous proposition because the outcome of the census determines how Congressional Districts are drawn and could give the Democrats and even tighter grip on Michigan.  Now, ACORN is attacking gun owner rights in New Jersey!  Now, more than ever, it will be important that we send a Republican Secretary of State to Lansing who will protect Michigananders from this group whom the Democrats favor.  To do so, Republicans must elect a candidate who can defeat a Democrat in the general election.  Anne Norlander has a breadth of understanding that surpasses many when it comes to the administration of elections and her knowledge of elections is starkly evident when she speaks.  She has been a strong Republican Clerk in a decidedly Democrat county for over 20 years. Anne is endorsed by more than 75% of our Republican Michigan County Clerks.  A significant statement by those on the front lines of election administration this early in the race. I recently read an interesting article in the Washington Times about a Republican lawmaker in Minnesota who is refusing to provide the Census Bureau with personal information because she fears it will be abused as a result of ACORN's role.  Isn't it good to know that we have a quality and qualified Secretary of State candidate who will hold ACORN accountable and fight for our rights!  Anne is the Republicans best choice for Secretary of State in Michigan.  Will you join me, and so many other conservatives in supporting her?  Please endorse Anne!
