Michigan now has a Bill in both the State Senate and the legislature to affirm Michigan's sovereignty under the 10th Amendment.
The times we are living in are the most volatile we as a Nation have ever faced politically. We are at the crossroads of no return folks. We must demand our Constitution BACK!

March 11, 2008 Great news! Sen. Bruce Patterson (R) has introduced Senate Concurrent Resolution 004 which has been referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
As you may recall, HCR 4, introduced by Representative Paul Opsommer, would affirm Michigan's sovereignty under the 10th Amendment and the Michigan legislature's commitment to defending it. Now, a companion piece is active in the Michigan Senate.
You can listen to Rep. Opsommer discussing the bill on WTCM Radio in Traverse City, Michigan at this link: http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2009/02/26/paul-opsommer-talks-michigan-sovereignty/ Now it's our turn!
Sen. Patterson and Rep. Opsommer cannot do this without our help. Here is what we need to do: 1. Call your Senator and your Representative and let them know that you support these resolutions! Find Who they are and their contact information you can use this link: http://michiganvotes.org/Find. aspxPursue them until you get a response. You can call their office during business hours, and if you let them know that you are a precinct delegate (or if not a GOP precinct delegate, a "precinct activist," they will know you stand for more than one vote and take you seriously. If your Senator is Kuipers, Cropsey, Sanborn, Patterson, Stamas, Whitmer, Clarke, or Basham, he/she is on the Judiciary Committee--do all possible to mobilize people in your district to put pressure on him or her!
Same for these Representatives: Meadows, Lipton, Lisa Brown, Constan, Corriveau, Coulouris, Kandrevas, Bettie Cook Scott, Warren, Schuitmaker, Amash, Haveman, Rick Jones, Kowall, or Rocca.
I also would like to remind everyone to also consider signing up for the St. Louis Regional Conference. It is approximately as far from Michigan as Minneapolis, but this conference includes two days of intensive political training that will prove invaluable in all your future efforts. St. Louis will pick up where Minneapolis left off--and, attendees will be given footage of subsequent training sessions occurring in the upcoming year.
