Why have we lost so many jobs overseas over the past 30 years? #FairTax #sgp #tcot #migop #ocra #safie

FairTax is a tax neutral shift in structure from a mandatory tax on product to a voluntary tax on consumption. FairTax has nothing to do with how we spend, just on how we collect. Read this link completely and then ask yourself if it is wise to go from a closed border trade to open border trade and not change the closed border tax structure. Read this:

“The U.S. Is Alone” And Why It Hurts

“The tax rate of 35 percent is impossible to provide an incentive to the large corporations, that have $1.7 trillion offshore, to put their money back in the United States.” – Frederick W. Smith
In March of 2011, Pfizer Pharmaceutical CEO Ian Read told The Wall Street Journal, “There should be a tax rate that allows us to compete… in the global marketplace.”
Later that year, H.R. 25, “The FairTax Act” co-author and economist Dan Mastromarco testified before the Joint Economic Committee that America’s corporations were paying “a national statutory marginal [tax] rate of 35 percent, which masks the fact that the return on capital is taxed repeatedly. These rates impose efficiency costs of as much as $728 billion.”
Mastromarco added, “The U.S. is alone in applying its punishing rates – the highest in the OECD and 50 percent higher than the average OECD rate of 23 percent — to domestic and foreign earnings alike.”
Congress failed to heed these and other warnings and as a result, a flood of companies has continued move their production and headquarters operations outside the United States.

Re: A Supercommittee Tax-Hike Surrender Means Republicans Would Snatch Defeat from the Jaws of Victory

Mr. Miller and the Ways and Means Committee,

I agree with your idea Mr Miller, 'budgetary savings of a sequester', but with over 50% of America not contributing to Federal tax revenue, there is not enough time to cut enough to maintain our nation fiscally until we can change the Tax structure and begin to grow our way out, leading the world in Prosperity and new trade value known as the FairTax Plan being replicated world wide, balancing free trade.
Mr. Cain has provided a two step plan to take the shock out of the transparancy of the consumption tax.  But by removing the embedded IRS Code taxes from the price of domestic product, US Industry will gain a 15% advantage in trade with imports, by sharing the burden of Federal taxes equally, instead of the excise burden on our own products as is today, as well as under the offered flat tax by Perry and Romney.
The International fiscal plan for the USA is more of the same. Liberty comes from empowering we the people into prosperity, beyond measure.  To not stand up now for the FairTax plan is, well, need I say?
Thus, we need the taxation increase to get us thru the next few years, with the promise of growth in return. President Obama has of last, demanded tax on only income over one million dollars.  Provide this with the insistance of FairTax being implemented asap.

Sincerely,

R. George Dunn

Commenting on Supercommittee deliberations last month, I asked whether Republicans will choose the real budgetary savings of a sequester or surrender to a tax hike. Well, it appears that the GOP likes being known as the Stupid Party and is seriously considering a plan to increase the net tax burden on the American people – [...]

The United Nations launched the 2011 Human Development Report, entitled Sustainability and Equity: A Better Future for All, with great fanfare on November 2, 2011. Helen Clark, Administrator of the largest and perhaps the most unaccountable, ethically-challenged of all UN bureaucratic agencies, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), presided over the ceremonies held in Copenhagen, [...]

(CNSNews.com) – Sen. Dear FairTax supporters,

Will you take a moment now and join me in telling the White House there is a better way with the FairTax?

Sign the FairTax Save the Nation Petition now This is a very dangerous time for our nation. Our leader's answer to too much debt has, dangerously, been to borrow trillions more. We are already beyond the point where we can pay back these massive obligations--now we are saddling our children and grandchildren with our growing debt. I can't say it more plainly than this: it's both irresponsible and immoral.

Each of us must do everything we can to change the course of the nation. Only the FairTax is big enough to solve this economic catastrophe without borrowing and spending the $3 trillion that will cripple our economy and undermine the coming generation's chance for a life better than ours.

The petition I am asking you to sign--and to ask your friends to sign--will not overnight inspire a change of heart by either the White House or Congress. That's the plain truth. But it remains a critically needed step on a grassroots-powered journey that ends with passage of the FairTax. If we do too little, it will be noticed.

Frankly, what once seemed to some as too big a change, now seems as if it were designed for an economic crisis of these historic proportions. I promise you that the volume of our message to Washington will only get louder. We won't stop until the FairTax is enacted.

Please take a moment now to read and sign our FairTax "Save the Nation" Petition to President Obama.

As you'll see, our petition not only spells out the underlying economic problems but also how the FairTax can begin a new era of American prosperity and growth and repair the very relationship between citizen and government. In coming weeks, we'll collect and print all the names, delivering them to the White House on April 15th.

You'll be helping to build our growing momentum that's finally picking up steam in hometown America. In the past week we've placed full-page FairTax ads in the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, and Tulsa World, which have brought in critically needed new FairTax supporters. (In fact, we're completing full-page ads now to run in Investor's Business Daily that will appear next week). We must build the citizen voice for the FairTax.

Help fuel our momentum: Take moment now to read and sign our "Save the Nation" Petition.

Help save our economy for ourselves, our children and grandchildren. We need the most important voice in the country…yours.

Sincerely,

Ken Hoagland
National Communications Director
