Gov. Romney,  You are echoing the last recovery plan that did not sustain us.  Certainly War is very expensive, but so is what you are failing to consider.

When President Reagan gave us Free Trade, we had in place a closed system production tax set up by convenience.  Now, domestic manufacturing is handicapped with at least 22% federal tax expense built into the cost of product, while imports evade out Federal taxation.  If we would but adopt the Brilliantly planned FairTax our problem will be how much to cut taxes because of all the jobs it would create, expanding spending through the roof.

You also have made suggestions that do not pass  Constitutional Conduct.  States are quite able to expand infra-structure  when we can afford it.  It is time to reign in this Big Government monster that is indebting our children's children.  Who is going to pay the piper when the piper stops playing?  Chili reminds one of the word hyper.

What is the difference between a Conservative Nationalist and a Conservative Federalist?  What is a moderate, a Nationalist or a Federalist? Maybe it is time to find out.  The far right is large and this left is small.  Wake up Shadow or get out of town.

Government made jobs are not sustainable.  Get the Federal Government out of States' business and let us prosper by changing the tax structure.  WE have 23 days till the first of the year.  Greatness comes from greatness done.

Kirk Jowers must have been observing a different presidential election than most Republican primary voters did in 2008.

 

Mitt Romney didn't lose the Republican nomination because he's Mormon.  Romney lost the nomination, among other things, because his record on family values issues such as abortion, the homosexual agenda, and pornography wasn't Mormon enough.

In his runs for public office before seeking the presidency, Romney endorsed abortion on demand, Roe v. Wade, Ted Kennedy's federal "gay rights" legislation, same-sex benefits for the homosexual partners of government workers (at taxpayers' expense), gays in the military, various gun control measures, opposed the state Marriage Protection Amendment proposed by traditional marriage groups, and disagreed with the Boy Scout policy banning homosexual Scouts and Scoutmasters.  In his prior campaigns, he was endorsed by both the homosexual Log Cabin Republicans and the pro-abortion Republican Majority for Choice.

 

On another family values issue, the Deseret News editorially commented on Romney's service as a member of the board of directors of Marriott Hotels, which offers pay-per-view pornography on its in-room movie service:

 

"Pornography taints everything it touches. Mitt Romney should have understood that. So should the Marriott Corporation and other hotel owners who offer hard-core movies in hotel rooms. Romney caught a bit of flack last week because he spent nearly 10 years on the Marriott board and yet never tried to reverse the company's policy of providing pornography on demand... For a presidential candidate who has railed against pornography, this is not entirely insignificant. Even if the subject never came up at a board meeting, one can argue that at least part of the $25,000 plus stock he was paid annually for his board membership came from the money some hotel guests paid for access to the films."  http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,680197653,00.html

 

Conservative GOP primary voters were then asked to believe that in the few short years intervening, a man raised from childhood in a politically active and sophisticated family -- who had served in leadership positions in a pro-life, traditional values-based church -- had only at the tender age of 58 suddenly discovered his moral compass and "seen the light" to become a rock-ribbed pro-life, pro-traditional values conservative, just in time, conveniently, to run for president.

 

However, well after his alleged "Road to Des Moines" conversion to pro-family conservatism, Romney while running for president told Tim Russert in December 2007 that he supports state-level "gay rights" laws, called homosexual couples raising children "fine" and "the American way," publicly scolded Joint Chiefs Chairman Peter Pace for characterizing homosexual behavior as immoral, and to this day -- unless he's changed his views yet again since his campaign's last statement during the primaries -- disagrees with the Boy Scouts' nationwide ban on homosexual Scouts and Scoutmasters, a position certainly at odds with the Church's firm stand in support of that policy. 

 

And as fellow candidate Fred Thompson accurately pointed out, referring to legislation Romney signed after his alleged pro-life conversion: "Gov. Romney's own health care plan in Massachusetts offers taxpayer funded abortions for a mere $50 co-pay and requires by law that a representative from Planned Parenthood sit on the MassHealth advisory board. Also telling in terms of character: in trying to justify his pro-abortion on demand track record, Romney didn't hesitate to throw Church officials and even his own mother under the bus.

 

He told WHO radio in Des Moines: "There are Mormons in the leadership of my church who are pro-choice.  ...Every Mormon should be pro-life? That's not what my church says."  (Not caring to identify which leaders of a pro-life church he claimed are "pro-choice," Romney self-servingly cast an undeserved cloud of doubt on all of them.)  http://www.politico.com/blogs/jonathanmartin/0807/Mitt_unplugged.html

 

In his debate with Ted Kennedy, he said: "I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country. I have since the time when my Mom took that position when she ran in 1970 as a U.S. Senate candidate."

But as the Boston Globe reported: "(Former Michigan Republican Party chairwoman Elly) Peterson is dumbfounded to hear that Mitt Romney has described his mother as having been an abortion rights supporter during (her 1970 U.S. Senate) campaign. And that's only one of the myriad of Romney's public statements that were, to put it kindly, simply not true: his demonstrably false claims about his gun ownership, his hunting prowess, his and/or his father's nonexistent marches with Martin Luther King, and his alleged endorsement by the NRA that never happened.

 

In the end, Romney's credibility was in such tatters that despite spending $100 million, he was able to win only three Republican primary contests, and only in his three "home" states: Massachusetts, Michigan, and Utah.

 

Kirk Jowers is wrong to blame Romney's church affiliation for his inability to credibly sell himself to socially conservative GOP primary voters.  Blame instead Romney's record of blatantly disregarding and rejecting the Church's well-known values on life and marriage and pornography before running for president, and his challenges with telling the truth about that record while he was running.

Former and future (a.k.a. perpetual) GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney completely tanked at a gathering of fiscal conservative leaders in Palm Beach, Florida over the weekend, delivering what attendees called a "rehearsed, vacuous speech" full of "standard Republican feel-good talking points."

Romney then followed up his speech to the national Club for Growth by berating a questioner who dared to ask him about his socialist health care proposals, accusing the man of taking "pot shots."

Hmmmm … sound familiar to anyone?

Anyway, we wrote about our ongoing distaste for Romney last week, prompting a flood of criticism from his supporters.

Well, it looks like we're not alone.

Chronicling the fireworks from Florida is Harper's reporter Ken Silverstein, the man who wrote what many consider to be the definitive account of Romney's failed 2008 presidential bid.

From Silverstein's blog, Washington Babylon:

    This past weekend's National Club for Growth annual conference featured three dinner speakers. Thursday night: South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford. Friday night: South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint. Saturday night: former Governor Mitt Romney, the early frontrunner for the G.O.P. nomination in 2012. The Club for Growth represents the more conservative wing of the G.O.P. on economic policy. It is especially supportive of cutting taxes and government spending, and heavily funds candidates it supports.

    A source who attended the event passed on to me his thoughts about the conference, which appears not to have gone well for Romney. Recall that during last year's G.O.P. nomination battle, Romney had a hard time convincing the conservative base that he was the real thing.

Silverstein goes on to quote from a source who attended Romney's speech …

    After his comments (during which many in the audience were notably bored, checking Blackberrys, etc.), Mitt asked for questions. The first was a from a man from New York who read from his handheld several lines from a Wall Street Journal editorial that was very critical of "Romney Care" in Massachusetts.

    He ended his questioning of Romney with this line: "How do you respond to the Wall Street Journal's article given all you've been telling us about your belief in free markets? How can we believe you when what you did in Massachusetts was (an) expensive government mandate regarding health care?"

    Many in the room erupted in applause. A visibly agitated Romney defensively began his reply with the following:"We can disagree without you taking potshots like you did at the end of your question there. That's the Wall Street Journal's opinion… I have my opinions too. (No word on how WSJ editorial writer John Fund felt as he sat just yards away in the crowd.)

Yowzers! What a whiny little girl. That's a legitimate question Romney just went "boo-effin-hoo" on.

Apparently, neither his tone nor his lack of an answer satisfied the masses …

    After defending his program by blaming changes on the Democratic Massachusetts legislature, Mitt asked for a second question in the very quiet room. A member from Texas said something along the lines of, "The name of our group is Club for Growth and we think of growth meaning growth in individual liberty. So, how does the fact that your program requires individuals to get government-mandated health insurance fit with our goal of liberty for individuals?"

    This led to more and louder applause from the crowd. Mitt then attempted to answer the question while demanding that the questioner "not leave the room" and "don't turn away from me." It was more than awkward… the next question was from a Club for Growth staff person who asked a softball… most likely to calm things down.

    Mitt's efforts to be all things to all people continue to cause him problems. Some members also expressed disgust following the speech that Romney refused to endorse Alaskan Lt. Governor Sean Parnell in his Club for Growth-backed bid for Congress against one of the most corrupt incumbents in the nation (Representative Don Young), even though Parnell served as Chair of Romney's Alaskan campaign. Pathetic.

Jeez. What a mega-bag-o-douche.

Like we've been saying, all these people who are convinced that Mitt Romney is the GOP's ticket out of the wilderness are flat out nuts.

You don't get out of the wilderness by fakery and whining. Or by sticking your finger in the wind every five minutes.

Seriously, if Mitt Romney received GOP polling data indicating that people wanted to see his wife on fire, he be pouring gas on her within five minutes.

Oh, and let's not forget who his lead Southern strategist was …

The 'Shadow' controling the GOP gets Obama elected

It is true that the GOP has been taken over by the Elitists in Washington who are the power behind both parties.  Did you ever wonder why it was that the GOP fell into a stupor when they took over both branches, congress and president?  For years the dance was democrats for progressive(big government) and the Republicans for conservative small government.  Then when the dance changed, those in power did not want the GOP platform and were at a loss as how to perform their illusion and still go down the road of Big Government, so they had the GOP pork out and look like idiots, which they ended up being. 

 

In an article, this was wrote of a quote from an CPAC attendee: 

Republicans "have turned it into a big-government Republican party. Clearly, that's not what the American people want," said Trevor Ford, 24, blaming GOP spending for the party's losses at the ballot box. "If you're not doing your job well for that many years, it's bound to happen."

Very well said Mr. Ford.  And the push by these elitists, whom I have been calling the 'Shadow', continues as they are again anointing Romney, their sugar boy in the 2008 primary.  Romney flip flopped more then any democrat running for office during that primary and was so cutthroat, he should have been arrested for fraud.

Malkin, addressing a media workshop, dismissed 2008 GOP presidential contender Mike Huckabee, slamming him for suggesting during the 2008 primary that former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney was more protective of Wall Street than Main Street.

I hold Michelle in high esteem and am now wondering , is she not seeing the truth and being blind sided by the Shadow or is she part of the darkness.  I hope and will hold to the former as she has always said the right thing before.  We shall see. 

The divide in the GOP is the Wall St.. corporate types verses the grassroots founding Father conservative types fiscally.  Union busting is not a conservative tribute, it is a corporate.  Not supporting the Fair Tax is not conservative, it is corporate.  Any business that is providing a fair days wage for a fair days work is not afraid of unions and any business that is not importing their product will benefit from the Fair Tax.  So who are these corporate types for?  Not me, not the We the people.  It is their agenda that has empowered communism and it is they who are destroying the Nation, not the left.  The left is like the junkyard dog who broke his chain which was weakened by the acid from the Shadow, the Bush bailout.

When it was apparent that McCain was getting a head wind in September, just before the election, the Shadow pulled the rug out from under him by imposing the fraudulent bailout.  The money being needed, they said, was less the funds being moved by the International banking community daily.  If it was that needed, the federal reserve would have pumped it into the system, as they have been.  Nope, it was done to stop Sarah Palin from moving into the President of the Senate and learning the truth of their dance on this Nation.  The shadow was afraid for the Light that she would be.  It is also the very reason that Huckabee had to fight so hard, as the Shadow trembles at the thought of the Governor being President.

Yup, the democrat party serves the agenda of the one world order crowd, if tempered and Obama being president fits their agenda.  If you destroy the American economy, the one world order takes over by implementing the one world currency.  When that happens, the shadow comes out and takes their throne and it will not be a friendly one after a short time of power.  There will be no one to check their power or wrathfulness.

By the way, if you are still in doubt, ask yourself why it is that the left was so eager to support the Bush bailout by bartering for 20 billion dollars for ACORN?  Those boots are made for marching and civilian armies are meant for controlling the masses. 

Watched the Romney CPAC Speech

I watched the Romney CPAC speech.  He was very good with the crowd, but he did lack any substance that would fix the Fiscal crisis.  His approach is less taxes, but has no plan for a permanent fix to job security for the American family.  We have watched our industrial base melt away by corporate Owners like Romney who have made a fortune on importing to America.  If those Corporate types were serious in wanting to fix our free enterprise, they would acknowledge that our tax structure is "A heavy or progressive or graduated income tax is necessary for the proper development of Communism." - Karl Marx and is destroying America and we are watching Washington dance as the last large industry is about to leave America.  As to the other car companies and the big three, how much of the parts are already foreign and assembled here. 

 

Romney also said we need to think of Global Warming not as an American plan, but as an international plan.  How does he figure that a scam at the national level is not a scam at the international level.  What he said sounded just like one of those one world nuts and from what the Bushs have done, they too are of that tree, along with all those elites in Washington.  The audience saw that and reacted, with hardly anyone clapping to the fraud, global warming.

 

Nope, Romney will further divide the GOP.  His days are done, regardless of how much the Washington crowd to include Fox push him.  He might as well save his money for his Grandchildren.  Don't get me wrong, I like Governor Romney, but just as a friend, not as our future leader.  Maybe he should go find a blue State and become it's Governor.  Romney is part of the insider Washington big government crowd who are already exposing their hand in pushing him for president.  NOpe, he is too RINO.
