'Why the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact should die' WSJ

Founders established electoral with more then two Political Parties in mind & to curb largess States(Cities) from dominating Presidential Elections, 1/3 of Federal Government. There is a push amongst the States by those who think Nationalizing the Federal Government is a good idea and are supporting a measure to make the Presidential Election by popular vote, not the current Electoral Constitutional Law.
The following link speaks to the Massachusetts attempt to make that State one of a future coalition of such States, bypassing the Constitution. We did the same thing with the U.S. Senate and gave it the popular vote.  Now, instead of the Senator being loyal to the Sovereignty of his State Legislatures desire,Senators are now loyal to the Lobbyists with the people molded vote being that of the Media's.
I say: Repeal the 17th Amendment and put the loyalty of the U. S. Senate back to the State Governments and Leave our current Electoral College Laws as are. Look at the history of our Constitution and then think, liberty. We are better served by each County holding a Caucus before we go to the national Bake sale.

Fed floats way to drain money from economy - Stocks & economy- msnbc.com

There are times when the enemy media gets so complacent, they will say or reveal a truth which sheds light on another.  In the case of this article, we find the Feds thinking that when the economy gets humming, all the money the banks will get would be better served, buried.  So they say.  Who can believe them?

It might be that the Feds want to hold down the recovery from starting by siphoning off funds to recover with.  What?  How could I say such an thing?  Based on how the Fed. govt created the crisis and how they attempted to fix it by transfusing the head, when it is the feet dying.  How the Feds continue the draining of the American economy, weakening our station in the world, like they have a game plan to take over the world through this NWO.  A strong America stops this from happening.

Then again, it might all be coincidence, all of it?  Someone turn on the light and send these bugs into their darkness.  Transparency of the Federal Reserve may hurt in the beginning, but in the long run, America will once again be the beacon of liberty and freedom.  But let this nest of vipers continue and we will be the swamp for the would to languish over how now they have fallen to our demise, don't that make us feel better?  Sad to say, the majority of selfishness in the world has lost hope under the socialist regimes and once the USA is collapsed, their hope fades even more.

If we do not get the FairTax in place this year, recovery will continue to elude the USA and the depth from which we recover from starts to multiply greatly in a spiraling fall.

Part of why our taxes are so high

Someone has to report this outrageous conduct. The news media spends to much time on Tiger and not enough time on import subjects as stated below.

Somebody spent a lot of time putting this together..... .
Pretty good summary of what is known - how much more is hidden?

$34,000:

The amount of federal taxes that Secretary of the Treasury
Timothy Geithner
 (D) failed to pay during his employment at
the International Monetary Fund despite receiving extra
compensation and explanatory brochures that described his
tax liabilities.

True:  http://www.cleveland.com/nation/index.ssf/2009/01/timothy_geithner_obamas_nomine.html

$75,000:

The amount of money that the  head of the  powerful
tax-writing committee,
 Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY), was
forced to report  on his taxes after the discovery that he
had not reported income from a   Dominican Republic rental
property. His excuses for the failure started with blaming
his wife, then his accountant and finally the fact that he
didn't speak Spanish.

True http://www.nypost.com/seven/09102008/news/regionalnews/rangels_spanish_excuse_128444.htm

$93,000:

The  INCREASE in the amount of petty cash each of our
Congressional representatives
 voted to give themselves in
January 2009 during the height of an economic meltdown.
That's a $40 + million INCREASE!

http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/01/its-recession-congress-gives-lawmakers.html  See video here from Fox

$133,900:

The amount Fannie Mae "invested" in Chris Dodd (D-CT), head
of the powerful Senate Banking Committee, presumably to
repel oversight of the GSE prior to its meltdown. Said
meltdown helped touch off the  current economic crisis. In
only a few years time, Fannie also "invested" over
 $105,000
in then-Senator Barack Obama.

True:  http://www.opensecrets.org/news/2008/07/top-senate-recipients-of-fanni.html

$140,000:

The amount of back taxes and interest that Cabinet nominee
Tom Daschle (D) was forced to cough up after the vetting
process revealed significant, unexplained tax liabilities.

True:  http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123335984751235247.html?mod=googlenews_wsj   Wall Street Journal

$356,000:

The approximate amount of income and deductions that
Daschle (D)
was forced to report on his amended 2005 and
2007 tax returns after being caught cheating on his taxes.
This includes $255,256 for the use of a car service,
$83,333 in unreported income, and $14,963 in charitable
contributions.

True:  http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123335984751235247.html?mod=googlenews_wsj  Wall Street Journal

$800,000:

The amount of "sweetheart" mortgages Senate Banking
Chairman Chris Dodd (D-CT)
 received from Countrywide
Financial, the details for which he has refused to release
details despite months of promises  to do so. Countrywide
was once the nation's largest mortgage lender and linked
to  Government-Sponsored Entities like Fannie Mae and
Freddie Mac. Their meltdown precipitated the current
financial crisis. Just days ago in  Pennsylvania ,
Countrywide was forced to pay $150,000,000 in mortgage
assistance following "a state investigation that concluded
that Countrywide relaxed its underwriting standards to
sell risky loans to consumers who did not understand them
and could not afford them."

$1,000,000:

The  estimated amount of donations by Denise Rich, wife of
fugitive Marc Rich, to Democrat interests and the William
J. Clinton Foundation in an apparent quid pro quo deal that
resulted in a pardon for Mr. Rich. The pardon was reviewed
and blessed by Obama Attorney General and then Deputy AG
Eric Holder, despite numerous requests by government
officials to turn it down.

True:  http://articles.latimes.com/2008/nov/20/nation/na-holder20

$12,000,000:

The amount of TARP money provided to community bank
OneUnited despite the fact that it did not qualify for
funds, and was "under attack from its regulators for
allegations of poor lending practices and executive-pay
abuses."  It turns out that
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), a key
contributor to the Fannie Mae meltdown, just happens to be
married to one of the bank's former directors.

True:  http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123258284337504295.html  Wall Street Journal

$23,500,000:

The upper range of net worth Rep. Allan  Mollohan (D-WV)
accumulated in four years time according to The Washington
Post through earmarks of "tens of millions of dollars to
groups associated with his own business partners."

True:  http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/05/14/AR2006051401032.html   Washington Post

$2,000,000,000:

($2 billion) the approximate amount of  money that House
Appropriations Chairman David Obey (D-WI) is earmarking
related to his son's lobbying  efforts. The son, Craig Obey,

is "a top lobbyist for the nonprofit group" that would
receive a roughly $2 billion component of the "Stimulus"
package.

$3,700,000,000:

(
$3.7 billion) not to be outdone, this is the estimated
value of various defense contracts awarded to a company
controlled by the husband of Rep. Diane Feinstein (D-CA).
Despite an obvious conflict-of-interest as "a  member of
the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee, Sen.
Feinstein voted for appropriations worth billions to her
husband's firms."

$4,190,000,000:

($4.19 billion) the amount of money in the so-called
"Stimulus" package devoted to
 fraudulent voter
registration
ACORN group under the auspices of "Community
Stabilization Activities". ACORN is currently the subject
of a RICO suit in  Ohio ...

a worldwide economic depression reminiscent of that touched

Yes, George, no doubt about, but there is a big problem, incredible enough, most Americans do not have a clear idea of who Saul Alinsky is or what his horrendous deeds were.

Evil prospers in our country because among other things, people after going to our Government Schools for decades and having gone to many years of dumbing down and indoctrination, they lack the knowledge and can not exercise the required discernment that a working Republic needs of its people.

If against all odds we manage to get our country back the first thing that we must do is to get control back of our Educational System.

Friends,
This article addresses one of the reasons why the Elites chose Obama as President of the United States.

The key word here is redistribution of wealth.

What better way to destroy the country than to implement redistribution of wealth in a capitalistic country?

It is true that the enemy within has been doing that to our country for decades.

But Obama was brought in to provide the check-mate situation where the the people confronted with the total destruction of the economy have no choice but to surrender totally to the State.

Would the "Elites/enemy within" be successful in achieving that when the dollar collapses completely in 2011?

Well the "Elites/enemy within" have an incredible advantage, ~98% of the people have no idea of what it is going on as far as how the country is run as they rely for information on the enemy within which controls the Media (liberal and conservative).

Would they wake up on time to preserve freedom and take the country back?

Only time will tell and that time is running very short.

In a 2008 radio interview, Barack Obama said:

" … the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. To that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn't that radical. It didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, at least as its been interpreted and the Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties."

I tell you, life isn't fair. Why hasn't the Supreme Court ever ventured into the matter of "redistributive wealth?" And what in the world were the Founding Fathers thinking about when they failed to broach the subject?

Surely it was an oversight that they never addressed the issue of taking your assets and giving them to your neighbor. Or perhaps it's just an indication that George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and James Madison were cold, calloused individuals who enjoyed watching people suffer.

In the same interview, Chairman Obama went on to say that the Constitution "[says] what the federal government can't do to you, but doesn't say what the federal government or state government must do on your behalf, and that hasn't shifted … and one of the … tragedies of the civil rights movement was … because the civil rights movement became so court focused, I think there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalition of powers through which you bring about redistributive change."

Excuse me? Do on your behalf? Those stupid Founding Fathers again. They didn't even think to put in the Constitution what the government must do on your behalf. And what a tragedy it was that the civil rights movement didn't put together the coalition of powers that could bring about "redistributive change."

Forget the fact that the Constitution never mentions the redistribution of anything. After all, the debate is over: We all know that redistribution of wealth is the only moral way to operate a country, right?

America will go through a fundamental change in 2010 – guaranteed. Either it will be fundamentally transformed into a full-fledged socialist police state, then, ultimately, a communist police state, or those who still believe in freedom will do whatever it takes to overthrow the oligarchy that now rules over us.

If the Republicans, after winning back the House and Senate – or even coming close – continue to act like a branch of the Demopublican Party and ignore the Constitution, it most likely will bring into existence a third party (How about the Tea Party?) that would be the first such animal of the modern era that would have a legitimate shot at of winning the presidency in 2012.

(Column continues below)

But, as I have so often pointed out, the caveat is that the fascist president and Congress may very well find a Chavezian reason to declare a state of emergency and "postpone" the 2012 presidential election. Regardless of whether that emergency is a total collapse of the U.S. economy or a terrorist attack, don't be fooled. If it happens, it will be aplanned event by those who are now in power.

Via health care, cap and trade and other wildly unconstitutional measures, BHO and the criminal Congress will assure that the economy is many times worse off by next November's elections than it is now. The objective, of course, is to bring people to their knees so they will have "no other choice" but to look to benevolent government for help.

I believe that 20-25 percent unemployment is coming, more massive bailouts of companies "too big to fail," higher taxes, government controlled health care, cap and trade and, yes, jail time for those who do not obey the unconstitutional edicts of the criminal class in Washington.

Could I be wrong? Sure. I thought we'd have runaway inflation and a solidly entrenched police state by the mid '80s, but I underestimated the sheer power of Ronald Reagan's personality – not to mention the government's capacity to print fiat currency and borrow money.

Having said this, the only way that a "fundamentally transformed America" can be avoided is if:

1. Free elections are held in 2010

2. Conservative Republicans sweep into power

3. Said conservative Republicans immediately began to repeal all unconstitutional legislation – including government involvement in health care, welfare, regulation of the environment, government involvement in education … and so on.

In short, get rid of all government functions other than providing a legal system for arbitrating disputes, protecting the lives and property of citizens and providing for a national defense.

4. While all this is going on, those of us who are on the moral high road should be prepared to spend enormous amounts of time and energy educating the anesthetized, sports-crazy, entertainment-crazy, vacation-crazy masses about the wonders of the free market. We must put forth the effort to explain to them why liberty is the most valuable commodity they can ever possess. We must help them understand that liberty, not government handouts, gives them the best opportunity to achieve economic freedom.

The year 2010 will be like no other in American history. It is not just another Carter era of sheer stupidity and incompetence. This is the real thing. This is what progressives have been working toward since the days of Theodore Roosevelt. We are living through a major historical time that may very well shape the destiny of the human race for centuries to come – or bring about its final demise.

But cheer up – it's Christmas. Enjoy your family and the other things in your life that are dear to you. Then, refreshed, come back after the holiday prepared to do battle with the most corrupt government in U.S. history.

FairTax Needed~ Detroit in Ruins and what to expect for USA if Obama implements all the things he wants

Steven Crowder was on Fox yesterday and made an update on the 28%, saying it is now 50%. One out two people are jobless.  It is also reported that the School Board tried to close unnecessary Schools and was met by angry crowds wanting to keep open.  I imagine it has to do with jobs and threat of mixing these distressed communities children at such a time.

We need FairTax yesterday and get us back to work.  Tell everyone to tell everyone.

Why George opposes Chairman Steele* Levis Add: a call for Revolution*RNC Chair Steele tells Teaparty no to agenda

When President Bush offered ACORN 20 Billion dollars to get the Democrats to support his bailout, knowing the GOP would be split, that is when I had a clear view of everything that has transpired for years, how we have went down the road of Nationalism.  Mr. Steele is a Nationalist.  We have Conservative nationalists and Conservative Federalists in the GOP , both using the mantra they are for smaller Federal Government.  The difference is, the Steeles' want a small Nationalist Government and hide that fact that it is not a Constitutional Government.  They are saying it is too late to roll back the programs we have.

That is why I think less of Michael Steele.  It has nothing to do with anything else but that.  Newt Gingrich is another and as for Romney, he is for Romney, big corporations, big international business in charge.  Truth to the NWO is there is a lot of the Presidents over the years slowly unfolding the USA into the envelope of NEO.  Why else do we still have a tax structure that is destroying us?  It is not that they are stupid.  Romney became rich with Baines Capital by allowing the tax structure to remain the same.

Now the USA is on the verge of second nation status.  By eliminating our manufacturing base, we have eliminated the foundation of employment.  Farming used to be, but the Model T-Ford changed that, switching agriculture to less consumption and less employment.  Now we have an Obama Administration, created by the 9/12/2009 Bailout, a timing in which Sarah Palin was sending John McCain over the top.  And the way he was acting, it was as if he had agreed long ago to make Obama President.  Anyway, President Bush stopped the ground swell by implementing the crisis.  The Crisis was a result of the International Banks invoking BASEL IV, a plan that demanded all members of the International Banking exchange to have their National Bank Books opened to transparency on 08-01/2009.  The USA is the only Bank of the World of Nations to fail to open their books.  The USA was given a one month extension to 10/01/2009.  To this day, congress is afraid of the Washington power, the Shadow and has not yet opened the books to Congress itself, let alone the international banks.

The Shadow played the Democrats and Republicans as a good party bad party scenario, but in the end the Nationalist left always won, with the GOP joining them on the golf courses.

We have been hoodwinked and it continues even today.  If you close enough you will see their subtle way s of brain washing America through a complacent media, including Fox.  The difference now is, that instead of just the Congress dancing, so is the media playing off each other, throwing in little steps of instrumentalism that are accepted words being they derive from the side of support to our Populist cause.  Ever wonder why both parties put down Populists?  WE out number both partners 2 to 1.

Nullification~Last Bastion to standing up to protect Constitutional American rights

The passage of the Obama Health Care Resolution has seven Attorney Generals filing suit on the unconstitutional conduct of the Congress.  This a quote from the link to Detroit News:
Henry McMaster said he and his counterparts -- all Republicans -- in Alabama, Colorado, Michigan, North Dakota, Texas and Washington state -- are jointly taking a look at the deal they've dubbed the "Nebraska compromise."
Failing this correcting Washington's conduct, the next step is to step over a failed Three Party system to the Constitution and have a Constitutional Crisis Conference by all State legislatures and Governors.  This will be the necessary step to the final Bastion of saving our Constitution as described below.

Subject: standing up to protect Constitutional American rights

Let's keep praying and trusting GOD our Redeemer! Here may be a GOD
given opportunity:
This unprecedented government takeover of American freedom must be
stopped. The tyrannical rule of Pelosi and Ried cannot be allowed to
continue. The laws they want so desperately to impose on us are
absolutely and without question unconstitutional. Please do all you can
to join with the 8 states and any others who are standing up to protect
Constitutional American rights and freedom.

"Mandating that individuals must obtain health insurance, and imposing
any penalty – civil or criminal – on any private citizen for not
purchasing health insurance is not authorized by any provision of the
U.S. Constitution."

Democrats have claimed that the individual mandate is authorized under
the Commerce Clause, the General Welfare Clause or the Taxing and
Spending Clause, according to CAP.

CAP argues that the federal government has limited jurisdiction,
"unless a specific provision of the Constitution empowers a particular
law, then that law is unconstitutional."

"Government can only regulate economic action; it cannot coerce action
on the part of private citizens who do not wish to participate in
commerce," — The Conservative Action Project (CAP)

Please consider and support Nullification.
In response to what some opponents see as a Congress that doesn't
represent their interests, State Legislators are looking to the nearly
forgotten American political tradition of nullification as a way to
reject any potential national health care program that may be coming
from Washington.

In 2010, residents of Arizona will be voting on a State Constitutional
Amendment that would let them effectively opt out of any proposed
national health care plan. Legislatures in Florida, Michigan, Ohio and
Pennsylvania are also considering similar State Constitutional
Amendments.

And now, Missouri is joining them. According to a report in The
Missourian, "Rep. Cynthia Davis, R-O'Fallon, pre-filed a bill Dec. 1
that, if approved by voters, would effectively put a halt on any
national health care legislation. Davis said her intent was to give
voters a way to protect themselves."
The principle behind such legislation is nullification, which has a
long history in the American tradition. When a state "nullifies" a
federal law, it is proclaiming that the law in question is void and
inoperative, or "non-effective," within the boundaries of that state;
or, in other words, not a law as far as the state is concerned.

Early nullification movements began with the Virginia and Kentucky
Resolutions of 1798. These resolutions, secretly authored by Thomas
Jefferson and James Madison, asserted that the people of the states, as
sovereign entities, could judge for themselves whether the federal
government had overstepped its constitutional bounds -- to the point of
ignoring federal laws.

Virginia and Kentucky passed the resolutions in response to the federal
Alien and Sedition Acts, which provided, in part, for the prosecution
of anyone who criticized Congress or the President of the United
States.

Nullification was regularly called upon by states all over the country
in response to everything from higher taxes to the fugitive slave law
of 1850.

Nullification.  Very much an option for all the states to follow and
some already are.  Namely, Missouri.....already has a bill tracking
..... and Texas and Oklahoma.  Read the links.
