RNC showing Big Government character

Top Republicans jump ship in NY-23
Some of the most prominent names in national Republican Party politics are lining up against the GOP nominee in a key upstate New York House special election, the latest being former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, who weighed in Friday.
In endorsing Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman in the Nov. 3 contest, Santorum joined former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, Minnesota Rep. Michelle Bachmann, former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson, and former presidential candidate Steve Forbes, all of whom announced their backing for the conservative third-party candidate this week. ...
...Republican strategist Mary Matalin added that Hoffman's endorsers "speak for all of us who came to the party in support of the fundamental/constitutional principles it represented."
"We can disagree or compromise on marginal issues, but not freedom-quashing, government-grasping ones, like tax increases, anti-democratic card check, etc. Holding on to a seat won on those principles is worse than losing it," she said....

This shell game we are witnessing by the Leadership is to maintain the Big Government power level in Congress. Every one of those who endorsed Dede Scozzafava need to repent or get out of the GOP.
Until the RNC starts acting Conservative and stands on principle, do not give them a dime until after the primaries. This is the third LIberal they have endorsed.

FairTax under Review
SmartBandwidth, your words are very true but for your lack of understanding how the FairTax will shift our Nations Tax burden from domestic production to an equal distribution on all product imported and domestic.
Before the Bush/Obama big Govenrment ploy with our economy these past two years, the mathmatical % to replace the IRS Code was 23%. Imagine if we can get that down to 2, 3%? This would allow for the States to prosper individually and the individual to find a job or create to prosper.Jobs are what we need and putting the tax burden onto imports and lowering it on domestic manufacturing will do just that. FairTax please!
